Pros Multi-functional, durable, useful device for the urban professional with need for data.
Cons No speakerphone and No polyphonic ringtone capable.
Recommended it? Yes

I the 7250 two weeks ago when my battery on my old cell phone was dying and I wanted to get something decent with internet capabilities (lacking in previous phone) and push email on my personal accounts. The 7250 was a perfect match with what I needed. With two weeks of full use throughout the New... Read full review »

Businessman's Weapon of Choice

bybryankerr Aug 31, 2006

Pros Great Audio Quality. Battery Life. Features. Professionalism.
Cons Expensive plans. Sometimes crashes, no "number dials"
Recommended it? Yes

Had this puppy for around a year now, picked it up for free with a 3 year plan. Use it every day for email and as my office phone. Works great. One quirk is that the Audio quality sounds rough on your end, but on the other end it sounds crystal clear, people can't tell I'm on a cellphone.

Great Product

bynotundecided Feb 11, 2006

Pros Clarity; email speed to handheld.
Cons Bulky, screen little fuzzy, ringtones not very loud
Recommended it? Yes

* Using the 7250 as a phone to your ear is possible, but since the unit is very W I D E compared to your typical cell phone, your hand may get tired a bit faster. I would think that most people would begin to use a handset more regularly if they owned this unit.
* One handed dialing is easy... Read full review »

Pros Excellent email, calendar & address book dialing!
Cons The size is horrible!
Recommended it? Yes

I love the applications on my 7250 (Calendar, email, etc) but I hate the look and feel... all my friends ask how my "Calculator" sounds when I talking into it :) their kidding, but it's true! It's looks like you're holding a calculator to your head! Read full review »

AllTel's 7250 has limits, but still a great unit.

Pros Does both Email and Cellphone very well. Data network uses 1X speed, keyboard lights up,
Cons Low volume ringer, No Instant Messenger,
Recommended it? Yes

I have been with AllTel for over 10 years. I got excited when the Blackberry came out. I always wanted one, but could not afford the $200.00 penalty, if you break AllTel's 2-yr agreement. Now I am a happy customer.

The Blackberry 7250, is a odd size, but it's not too bulky. I find it easy... Read full review »

Good for business user - not a good phone

bythe_blake Aug 14, 2005
9 Helpfuls 10 Helpfuls Was this review helpful?
Pros Great for sending/receiving email, especially if you send out a lot of messages.
Cons Phone is very basic. Browser too slow to use. Screen resolution kinda low.
Recommended it? No

This is not a bad unit for business users who want to take Outlook (mailbox, calendar, tasks, contacts, etc.) wherever they go. The screen on this one is bigger than similar models b/c it doesn't have a Bluetooth radio. The QWERTY keyboard is functionally well designed and allows to hammer out a... Read full review »

Pros True mobility, instant real-time email access, good cellular capabilities, great...
Cons Lack of standard letters on telephone numeric keys, escape key can cause premature call...
Recommended it? Yes

In my business, I cannot afford to be out of touch. Some service level agreements with our clients are so tight that responses to critical systems issues are required within a half hour time span, twenty four hours a day. In this regard, I cannot begin to express how valuable my Blackberry has... Read full review »
