Quest 64
There are very few RPGs on the N64 console. Compare it with the PS1 which is loaded with RPGs and it's strange. There's Aidyn Chronicles, Paper Mario and Quest 64. Aidyn Chronicles kinda sucks and so does Quest 64, so really Paper Mario is the only worthwhile RPG on the console unless I'm missing... Read full review »

"Quest shouldn't of rushed it."
Quest 64 is one of those games that could've been great if a little more work was put in to it development.

The second I saw this game, since I am an RPG fan, I ran out and bought it. I went home, ate some Chinese food very quickly (That new game rush), read the book cause I was not sure what to expecr, and went upstairs to play the first RPG on 64! I was so excited!

Okay, but could be a lot better
I bought this game because I am a huge fanatic about iD Software games. Especally Quake series. All though I was disappointed to see some of the levels from the orignal PC version were taken out and the Multiplay only supported 2 players. If you are looking for a Final Fantasy type game for the N64, then Quest is the wrong place to look.
I bought this game cause it's the only thing that smells like a true RPG game for the N64. Zelda a good adventure game but it's not an RPG. It also didn?t hurt that it was cheap to.

Quest 64 is a failure any way you look at it.
Quest 64's entire claim to fame was to be the first role-playing game for the n64. If this game was put out on any other platform, it would most likely be ignored and mothballed. Big Hype for next to nothing
I thought when I bought this game I would become addicted and play until I won, then play it again, to make sure i didn't miss anything. But when i inserted it into my N64, I was disappointed. To this day, I haven't contributed more than 4 hours to playing this game.

Emergency-Backup-Game 64
Quest 64's single most redeeming feature was the fact that it was released before Zelda 64. That was the only reason to consider buying this game. Of course, that was two years ago, so holding the honor of being first hardly applies today.

The worst RPG-no-the worst game ever.
Quest 64 is the most boring, mundane game ever created. It combines a poor plot with poor gameplay to make the most horrible, least fun game ever. It is unfortunate that one of the few RPGs on a system with only about five has to be so terrible, but it is the truth.
