Pros Smooth, Streaming Graphics
Cons A little jerky at times in Multi-Player mode
Recommended it? Yes

WOW! This game is the best Quake yet! Pick up your gun, find an opponent, and blow his a$$ off. This game is as real as it gets right now. I recommend this game especially if you have a Voodoo3 video card. I bought this game because I knew it had to be good. The multi-player mode is smooth and... Read full review »

Pros Unique gaming experience, super fast gaming enigine.
Cons Too much carnage not enough strategy.
Recommended it? Yes

Before I go off on my rant, let me first explain that Quake III Arena is not a bad game. It is just different from the first Quakes and it's Granddaddy Doom.

The game is unique, and fast paced, almost too much so. Though many will disagree with me, Quake III does not offer the same hide... Read full review »

Pros Fun, fast fragging.
Cons Low detailed weapons, wimpy plot, game plays too fast
Recommended it? Yes

Your fingers are sore, your mouth is dry, you have motion sickness, but will you stop? NO!! Because your rapidly fragging away on Quake3. This is the way I get during the late night quake3 matches. What made me buy the game? Hey, it's quake. I've been a die hard fan of Quake ever since the first... Read full review »

UT is better, trust me...

Pros Fast Gameplay, good skins
Cons Everything else
Recommended it? No

I wrote a review for the question "Which is better? UT or Q3A?" on this same site. I hate to disagree with all you Quake fans, but UT is better.

Quake III, is an average FPS, not as many options as UT, not as good maps at UT, and not as many modes of play as UT. It's okay for a quick... Read full review »

Pros Great Graphics and Sound
Cons Steep sys. requirements
Recommended it? Yes

First and foremost, the "Elite Edition" is nothing more than a different box compared to the regular Q3A game. So heres the review of mine on Q3A:
The 3rd edition in the Quake series seems to me to have came off just as well as the other two truly excellent games. The first and foremost plus... Read full review »

Pros Great graphics and bots
Cons Steep Sys Requirements

The 3rd edition in the Quake series seems to me to have came off just as well as the other two truly excellent games. The first and foremost plus about this game is the amazing graphics engine. Nothing short of an obscenely fast machine can run this with all the features turned on and get somewhat... Read full review »

Pros Great Graphics, Gets you hooked...
Cons Un-like other Quake games (which could be a pro, depending)...
Recommended it? Yes

When I first purchased Quake3, I was shocked to find that it had a totally different format than those of Quake1 and 2. In this one, though still in the first person, you don't pass through levels defeating enemies and ultimately beating the supreme boss in the last last level. This gave me many... Read full review »

The multiplayer-based first-person shooter series from Id has only gotten better with time. First Quake opened up a whole new world of online gaming with Quakeworld. Then Quake 2 revolutionized that world with very smooth online game play. Now, Id has created likely the last piece of the puzzle,... Read full review »

Pros Good graphics, Lag Free, controls easy
Cons none really
Recommended it? Yes

Quake 3 kills every online mutiplayer game like tribes, star stiege, mech warrior and everything like that. The reason why it is the best because theres barelly any lag first of all. All you do is usually just frag people with various guns liek the rail gun, shot gun, and more.

The reason... Read full review »
