Fast, cheap, and easy
If you own more than one computer, you should have this product. It's very good, and very cheap. I certainly wish I had installed a home network years ago. If I had known it was this cheap and easy, I would have.
Why do I recommend this? My needs were simple. My wife and I have a desktop...

Convenience at a premium...
Have a number of computers at home, and you want to share your lone dial-up connection? Do you really, really want to play Baldur's Gate with your brother? Have any desire whatsoever to share files without having to resort to removable media? The "D-Link DFE 910 Network in a Box" is one solution to... Read full review »
Works great, but here's why I don't like it
You might ask yourself, what?s there not to like about a network hub? Well the answer is the one thing that I did NOT expect when I built my home network: A hub with a loud and noisy fan.
Yep, that?s right. My D-Link DSH-5 10/100 Ethernet Hub has a loud, whipping fan. The hub is in my...

Do this- its worth it.
I knew very little about networking before I got this setup. I just knew I couldn't pass up this great deal when I saw it.
The bundle comes with everything you need. a 5 port hub, 2-25 ft Cat5 cables, 2 network cards, and token ring adapters. All for $49. Yes you heard me, $49. (After a...

D-link's Entry in the all-in-one Ethernet Home Networking Kits.
For a job, I got to recently compare a pair of home networking kits, and the D-link DFE 910 was one of them. Although there are a number of different ways to link computers together for your home, I prefer Ethernet. This is the fastest and most reliable connection available. The wireless networks... Does What it Says, But . . .
I needed a solution to accomplish the following: (1) share an Internet connection, (2) share printers and (3) transfer files between machines. In a nutshell, the DFE-910 does all of the above nicely. The setup went exactly as the decently-written documentation said it would (with the exception of... Read full review »
You can't beat ethernet for speed and reliability
So you need to purchase a home networking kit? You've basically got 4 categories to choose from: ethernet, phone line, wireless, and electrical.
Phone line systems (Intel AnyPoint, for example) have been gaining popularity lately for their ease of use and installation. But with phone line,...

Great Network Kit
So, you've got two or more perfectly good PCs lying around your house. One of them, probably the "family" computer, has got the printer, the cable-modem connection, and all those games you downloaded off the Internet. Meanwhile, your other computer, probably in your bedroom or basement, is all... Read full review »
A Networking Nightmare
A few months ago I decided to purchase an inexpensive networking kit to link up the three computers I have at home. I decided to purchase the D-Link kit because the price was good, it had a rebate and because it would allow expansion should I ever need it. (You never know! hehehe) I brought the set...
