Excellent Sounding Speakers
Bought these for my first Home Theater setup. I was quite surprised to how well they sounded. A lot crisper than the Inifinity Series I listened to. A very musical speaker
One question to ask yourself when considering this speaker is what does another $100 buy you. Essentially, this is the model 600i with an additional 6 1/2" woofer. You won't regret buying the Polk RT800i's
I purchased these speakers through Crutchfield.com two months ago on sale for $600.00. Being a college student with a limited income they were a significant investment for me. But after having listened to them the past couple months I can honestly say I have no regrets about buying them.

Most bang for your buck...
If you're looking to build a home theater system and you're on a budget, which are most people, Polk Audio, and more specifically, these RT800/800i speakers are your BEST options. can't decide

Most bang for your buck!
The RT800i's are almost IDENTICAL to the RT800's (the RT800i series were manufactured a year after the RT800's). The only noticeable difference is that the mid-range drivers are injected with blue dye (the appearance does look nicer, but with the grill on it most of the time, this is not at all...
