Pros nice addition to pokemon games
Cons none
Recommended it? Yes

Pokemon Yellow is another great game in the series of Pokemon gameboy games. It helps the kids "catch" all 150 pokemon. My kids connect gameboys and trade pokemon so they all have as many as they can get. This game isn't so engrossing that they play it for hours on end, but it keeps them busy for... Pros Pikachu, live and in color (sort of)
Cons Major similarities to the Blue and Red versions
Recommended it? Yes

I'm sure the usual crowd that reads my stuff is getting a kick out of this one. You go from a ton of finance reviews, to a ton of wrestling video opinions, to Pokemon?? Well, sadly I must admit that, at age 19, I am a Pokemaniac. I can actually feel the reader's respect level of me dropping as I... Read full review »

Pros Better graphics, more animations, Pikachu says its name
Cons kiddy rpg
Recommended it? Yes

?Pikachu, GO!? Those Pokemon famous words ring through your ears. As the Pokemon craze has started dying down in the past six months to a year, more games are coming out.

I know that when the original Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue first arrived in the U.S., I hated the furry little ?Pocket... Read full review »

Pros That rat thing is actually pretty cute.
Cons It's the same old game!
Recommended it? Yes

The Pikachu is a little yellow cute mouse pocket monster (or Pokemon for short) that is definitely the most popular creature from the two last games (Pokemon Red and Blue). I guess the reason behind the Pikachu's popularity can be blamed on that old cartoon show where it was one of the main... Read full review »

Pros Great adventure game, follows the cartoon story line
Cons STILL can't get all the pokemon alone
Recommended it? Yes

Pokemon Yellow is a really cool game for the Nintendo GameBoy that follows the cartoon series much more closely than either the Red or the Blue games did.

If you played Red and/or Blue, then you will discover that Yellow uses the exact same game world maps as they did. However, there are... Read full review »

I'm a doctor...are you ill? (1-10-00)

Symptoms of critical Pokemania are easily identified in a fan. 1) You know that the cards are not the only Pokemon product. 2) You memorize the names of over 250 Pokemon and know exactly what they look like. 3) You spend hours holding that Nintendo... Read full review »

Pros Improved graphics, better 2-player, more can be found, and Pikachu is stronger!
Cons Pikachu is your starter Pokemon, not same feel as red/blue, Pikachu sucks!
Recommended it? Yes

The third of the 5 (soon to be 6) over hyped, additive Gameboy Pokemon games. Well, if you've read the Pro's, Con's and the title, than you'd think that I hated this game. If so, your wrong. I liked this game a lot, but it's not as good as red/blue. Sure a lot of things have been improved and... Read full review »

Pros Good Game Play
Cons not enough color
Recommended it? Yes

This is just like the lastest two versions Blue/Red. You can't really tell the difference from this then Red or Blue, But there are some updated things. If you liked the first two then you will like this one. It has all 151 Pokemon and has the same coloring as the others. I would suggest waiting... Read full review »

Pros Cute! Interesting! Easy.
Cons Maybe too easy and if fighting little monsters turns you off don't buy it.
Recommended it? Yes

I enjoy a little japanese animation every now and then. I will admit it. I thought the Pokemon series was cute and interesting both in storyline and in cultural significance considering that it seems to be able to captivate both American and Japanese audiences.

Other than that I ignored it... Read full review »

Mostly everybody by now has at least heard of the infamous pokemon craze that has been spreading, mainly by pokemon red and blue. Then, yellow makes an appearance...as if there is any major difference at all!

Nintendo claims that its a great new game with many new parts to the plot, a... Read full review »
