Great for surfing and email, not for gamers.
If gaming is no big deal to you, then you will love this monitor. Easy to setup, it comes in a larger box than most because it is all assembled. It comes with free software that allows you to pivot the screen 90deg. The picture color, contrast and brightness are perfect.

I just got mine from Dell with a new computer. I got it for $679... 10% off. This is the best monitor I have had. It is replacing a Sony 20-in CRT that did a great job for 7 years.
