I bought a Philips Senseo after reading the not-so-good reviews of comparable machines from Melitta and Black and Decker - with their complaints of weak coffee, flimsy construction and unreliability. I have no regrets at all!

Drip drip drip
I had read so many good reviews about this machine, that I thought it was worth a try. Was I mistaken.
It was a choice between a #40 Senseo or a much more expensive espresso machine. I didn't even look at the espresso machines as the reviews for the Senseo were so good.

Take a shower with Senseo
It was very nice to have foam on my coffee at first, but after the first dozen cups, I wanted just plain coffee, so I alternated with my Krups. Horrible - don not buy
If you enjoy a full cup of coffee, do not buy this item. It will not fill up a regular sized mug, even if you choose the 2 cup option. The coffee pods are limited in variety and expensive.
