Liked it.....but I'm disappointed

senseo makes coffee to rival the worst coin coffee machines
While the unit worked properly I found the coffee to taste very much like the instant stuff produced by those big hospital coin operated machines--bad news.
The small reservoir is annoying and I notice that Sam's club sells one with a bigger reservoir.

Wait till they get it right
I was very excited to find a one-at-a-time brewed coffee solution. I brought home a blue Senseo and tested the mild, medium and strong versions of their coffee pods-- It's a good concept but they don't have it right yet. Not what I expected...
This thing is very slow and messy. Mine was prone to just squirt water all over the counter. The pods are expensive and cant be gotten just anywhere.
i cant see why anyone would get one of these (for $69) as opposed to getting a cheap expresso machine (For $30).

A wee pleasure
Let's face it, a 4 oz. cup of coffee takes getting used to when you're usually holding a cup or mug ranging from 8 to 16 ounces and sometime 20 ounces at your coffee shop. Of course, this is a European size coffee and it may be one of the few good habits available from Europe these days.

Fantastic
I love this coffee maker. If you want a large cup of coffee use 2 pods and a large mug, and press the single serving button. I am making coffee at home again!!! I haven't been to "You Know Who" in 3 weeks, that paid for the machine and 144 pods. Read full review »

This is a great little invention. At first I bought the Melita machine, but returned it when I found out it only took Melita pods. This machine is much better -- it makes the coffee a little frothy on the top -- yum! Read full review »
