The Passion of Darkly Noon.
Sounds like a romance novel. Or, more accurately, a porn film.
But it happens to be the title of a fine film starring Brendan Fraser in what is perhaps his greatest most unflinching portrayal to date.

Well, I couldn?t sleep. I really tried, but I just couldn?t do it. I checked to see what was on the brain rotter. The best I could find was a movie called The Passion of Darkly Noon. It had Ashley Judd and Brendan Fraser in it. I like both of them so I thought I would like the movie.

Unless you concentrate, this movie will certainly leave you in the dark!
I think the jury is still out on this movie, and that it is far too complex a film to fully grasp without multiple viewings. The question is, could I sit through it again? As a former art student, I have seen films that are just as, if not more disturbing than this film, but not many.
