The Silent Hill Fan's PE Review
Here's the average Silent Hill and Resident Evil fan's review. I tried to make it lengthy enough to enjoy but not so long that it's crazy. I'll keep all spoilers out, as well. Enjoy!
Gameplay 8/10
This was a very good aspect of Parasite Eve. I probably enjoyed this most aside...

The cinematic RPG
[parasite eve] is yet another great RPG from Square. Centering around the lives of two gorgeous women -- Melissa Pierce, an aspiring opera singer, and Aya Brea, a young police officer, [parasite eve] features some of the strongest graphics ever to be put into a PlayStation title in the pre-FFVIII... Fascinating!
I am, as of typing this, still engrossed in this spectacular thrill-ride of a game. Even when you think the game is over for the first time, you've still got a long way to go to completely conquer "Parasite Eve".
New York gets a nasty Christmas present in Melissa Pierce, and it's up to...

The Mirror has Two Faces
Squaresoft had a vision, to create a new genre of RPG. Touted as a "cinematic RPG," Squaresoft was churning out what looked to be an incredible product. Did they succeed in creating a great sub-genre of RPGs? Yes, and no. Parasite Eve is loved by some, and dreaded by many others. So what's the... Read full review »
Exciting and energetic!
Parasite Eve has to be one of the greatest games ever made by Squaresoft. Similar to the look and feel of Resident Evil, Parasite Eve has a lot to offer to all gamers. It has great cinematic movies, adventurous role playing, and exciting battle sequences.
From the first time I saw...

Parasite Eve
Parasite Eve is a ground-breaking RPG from the people at SquareSoft, which combines the epic and almost legendary Squaresoft RPG with Resident Evil's "Survival Horror" genre. In this game, you play as N.Y.P.D officer Aya Brea, who is the only person in New York who cannot seem to be affected by a... Read full review »
Another worthy Square title
This is a good buy in my opinion. It's a 2-CD horror RPG by square. I think this is the first one of the genre.
I personally am not a fan of the Resident Evil series, and this game floated my boat pretty good. The combat style is kind of a mix between Secret of Mana and FF.
The...

Not Too Many Games Accidently Tie in with Star Wars...
Actually, I bought this as a gift, but of course, I had to play it first, didn't I? LOL
It's an interesting enough concept, and I kind of like the way they don't spring it all on you at once, they kind of spoon-feed you this really odd theory of cellular biology, and then build a really...

Eve-rybody Should Play This
I must admit that at first I bought this game as a loyal SquareSoft fan. I had heard some disparaging remarks about the game, but decided to buy it anyway. I am glad I did.
The graphics, in true Squre practice, are amazing. The backgrounds are superb and the movement in nearly fluid. The...

An RE clone from Square? Great effort but not perfect
At first I wasn't so sure. A Resident Evil clone from Square? Could they make it just as scary and as fun as the entire RE series is? Guess so. You play as Aya Brea, a New York city detective who goes to see an opera with her date. Little does she know what will happen when she walks through the... Read full review »
