Purchased on credit out of desperation
About 6 months ago my old (ancient) Hoover vacuum cleaner gave out on me. It wasn't a belt or anything simple. It was the motor. I took it into our local vacuum supply/repair shop and the owner said he would check it out and give me an estimate on it before he did any repairs.

Bonk, bang, drop, and spill, then refill.
I am a lazy cleaner so I take my vacuuming seriously. I want my vacuum to do as much of the work as possible. That was my main objective in purchasing my vacuum two years ago.
This Panasonic model has lived up to my expectations and is also light enough for me to drag all over the house...

Panasonic VC-7395 Vac Cleans Well with One Problem
I purchased the Panasonic vac in June '99 after comparing brands and models. We have used it plenty and have had no problems until recently. Love & Hate Relationship, Mostly Hate
I read about this vacuum in Consumers Guide, where it was highly recommended. Poorly Made
I purchased this vacuum cleaner on-line back in February, 2000, for $160. I have been very satisfied with this unit until recently, when I had to change the belt. Satisfied owner
I have owned this Panasonic vacuum for around 6 years. It has been a very good performer. The bags are a little hard to find. But it seems like I can find them on line when I need them. I HATE THIS VACUUM
I can't tell you how aggravating this vacuum cleaner is. Every time it is used for more than 5 minutes, the belt breaks. This also smells up the house (lovely burned rubber).
