Almost perfect!
We don't have cable, satellite, or any other pay-tv service, so when we were looking for DVD recorders, it had to have a tuner. That eliminated about 95% of the models on the market. PIECE OF JUNK!
I had purchased a Panasonic DMR-EZ48K Recorder and immediately experienced hardware issues. The first unit would lockup and not respond to commands, to include pressing the reset button, channel reset, and/or power button.

great EXCEPT....it keeps BREAKING
We have had the DVD/Video player for less than a year and have had returned it to the service center three times for the same type of problem. Don't Waste Your Money!!!!
This machine is a technological nightmare!!! The DVD player requires about 30 seconds to turn on from the time you hit the button to the time you can actually manipulate the machine. Great Product
I use it to watch recorded movies and to record tv shows. I love that it plays Divx recordings because I can have 5 movies on one disc. I only have one negative comment,I do have to push the reset button when it locks up to get the machine to respond. I have to do this 3 or 4 times a week. Read full review »
