Carry your life in the Palm of your hand, with the m505

Pros Color screen, Plenty of memory, Familiar design for Palm users
Cons Price, Some unnecessary functionality, There are better color screens out there
Recommended it? Yes

The m505 is one of the latest in Palm's long line of hand-held devices. While in most obvious ways it seems a far cry from, say, my Palm III, it retains a familiar design and feel -- partly due to its continued use of Palm OS (Version 4.0 to be specific). Users new to the Palm family of products... Read full review »

Fading But Not Yet Gone

Pros silent alarms, expansion capability, less pixelated than other color Palms, USB or serial...
Cons SD cards mostly vaporware, still pixelated, dim screen, yet another hotsync connector
Recommended it? No

One of the biggest problems with the Palm IIIc and the Handspring Prism is screen pixelation, otherwise known as the black grid. About half of the people who own these units don't even notice the black grid on the screen, and another 30 percent or so notice but don't care. The rest of us... Read full review »

Through retail sources I?ve had the opportunity to use the new Palm m500 and m505 the past couple of weeks in advance of general distribution. The m505 is scheduled for retail sale starting in May while the Palm m500 is on a slightly earlier schedule on the latest reports.

I was really excited to hear that Palm was about to release their latest and greatest addition to the Palm PDA product line. When I caught the first glimpse, I was happy to see that they have heard the response from consumers: that the Palm V had the best "look and feel" of any of the Palm... Read full review »

Only recently I put up a review on the Palm m500. I found out just a few days ago that a friend was going to have a m505 to review for a few days. I now had the chance to look at the m505 before I received the one I preordered at Amazon.com for $350 (after coupons, rebates, and gift certificates of... Read full review »

Since Palm's last evolutionary offering in the world of PDAs, the Palm VII, people have been left wondering where the company would go next. With increasing competition from Handspring and Sony, Palm has finally answered back with their m500 PDAs. And to satisfy the masses who want color, they gave... Read full review »

My days using a Handspring Visor Deluxe are coming to an end, thanks to my testing of this precious PDA.

I've got to say up front that this PDA is about as good as it gets in the Palm OS flavors. And although I do have some minor concerns and issues with this product, the Pros outweight... Read full review »
