palm m500 kicks
Overall, this is an excellent addition to the palm family.
The m500 boasts a 33 MHz processor,and a sharp display.
The downsides are that it has a huge price tag, and that its easily gets scratched and broken. The screen is also somewhat flimsy but it is not too bad. One good thing about...

Nice New Touch From Palm!
I upgraded to the m500 a few weeks ago from my older IIIe unit. The new m-series' are small, lightweigt, and very similar to the V series. The m500 series sports a new OS (4.0), clearer screen, better backlighting, new Lithium Polymer battery, and an expansion slot for cards the size of postage... Read full review »

Palm m500, a failure
I thought i purchased a good product when I got this. But I was wrong. The item was good for about a month. When the screen went fuzzy everytime I sued it from then. Palm m500 perfect for one who needs the basic
This palm pilot is a good model for someone who needs the basics. It has a backlight and is easy to read in the sunlight and at night. Data entry at times can be difficult, because the unit's interface is small and the built in key-pad is hard to use.
It has a rechargable battery. This...

I own one and love it!
I found my m500 on ebay for half it's price and didn't wait a second to buy it. It helps me keep track of all my college assignments and dates as well as keeps my entire address book. I also have many games and extras on my palm to keep me occupied in a boring class. The palm is easy to use and has... Read full review »
Pretty Good Organizer
I have had my Palm M500 for about 4 months now. I use it primarily for the datebook, addresses and for reading articles via the included AVANTGO software, which downloads articles off the internet.
I bought a package for $200 that included a leather case, plastic screen covers, and some...

This case does not fit the m515 handheld
I bought this case for use with my Palm m515 handheld. The packaging only mentioned the m500/505, but Palm's web site claimed m515 compatibility.
The m515 is slightly thicker than the m500/505. The result is that the case (which was obviously a tight fit) doesn't have enough room for an...

FINALLY MY CALENDARS AND PHONE BOOKS MATCH
I have been trying to find a way to keep my addresses and phone numbers at work and home somewhat consistent. I used to have to write an address and phone number down on paper and try not to lose the paper before entering the information into my home and office MS Outlook files. It never failed,... Great lil Handheld
This is an awesome, sleek little handheld. This is my first PDA. I never thought I really needed one, but now that I have it, I can't figure out why I didn't get one sooner. It's like having one of those organizer books in 1/10 of the size.
I haven't had to buy any memory cards yet and...

PalmOne m500 Handheld
Palm introduced the Palm V as the handheld for elite users: its anodized aluminum finish, small size, and thin profile--not to mention its premium price tag--were supposed to appeal to the upper echelon of executives. When the masses decided that a small and light device was worth the extra bucks, Palm found itself with its top-selling handheld. With the introduction of the Palm m500, it's clear that Palm has learned its lesson and is sticking with the successful form factor, while adding a handful of new features to incrementally advance the entire Palm family.
