Much better, but still not that great
The original Palm Zire was a great success for Palm. Although it was only for beginners, the great design and low price convinced more than six or seven million to buy it. I wish Handspring Visors were still around

Great as an organizer...that's what it was created for
I have owned a Palm III for many years. I bought that used for $25. It served me very well.

get organized for a decent price
If you are used to spend less than $10 per year on an organizer/notebook made of paper and you did OK so far, spending hundreds of dollars on something that essentially fulfills the same role is a risk. Even the $60 I paid for a factory refurbished Zire21 felt like an enormous amount.
