We were so excited to finally purchase a bread machine but the ExpressBake Bread Machine was a huge disappointment to us. Yummy Homemade bread coming up! or rolls

Timer doesn't work with Dough Setting

I am returning the Ostler 5838 ExpressBake Bread Machine
It was impossible to remove the bread pan from the machine without using a screwdriver to pry it out on both sides. I used a recipe I have used before in another machine, and the bread was inedible. I've had the Oster for a little over a year. It's the first and only bread maker I've owned, and I'm very happy with it. I make one or two loaves a week, and haven't had any problems with it. Motor died on third loaf!

Not what I expected
Received one for Xmas two years ago, it was broken (electronics were fried) the minute it came out of the box.
Got a replacement.
Now, two years later, (aren't they supposed to last longer that that?) the "new" one has fried electonics.

All our recipes have turned out wonderful.
This was the second bread machine that we have bought. The attraction was the rabid bake cycle.
Price: Was average for an advanced bread machine - bought it on sale.
Speed: Has a rapid cycle that produces bread in 58 minutes.
Whole wheat takes about 3 hours.
