Looks great but won't hold up

Bare bones, but can it ever blend!
No, this model is definitely not for gadget freaks. It only has two speeds, high and low. It operates with a simple switch mechanism, pushed to the left is one speed, the middle is off and the other direction is the second speed. Feel The Power! Muh ha ha ha!
Don't get the weak looking Oster with the glass jar, even though it holds more volume than the metallic shake vessel. But all that chrome looks so good next to the Henckles Knife Set and the duplex meat grinder.

I bought this blender a few years back and have been generally disappointed. I paid quite a bit for it and it doesn't do much. ARRRGH!! It SUPPOSED to leak!!
I got my blender, was all excited, but when I looked on the bottom I saw it was leaking. I went to the website and it says point blank, "10 drops per minute is normal". WHAT!?
