Pros Display shows only buttons you need for each device.
Cons Mildly annoying wake up feature, but not bad.
Recommended it? Yes

I found this remote for under $20 and I've been very happy with it. The luminescent screen is a great feature as it only shows you the options that are relevant for the device you are controlling. Pros Easy to read backlit display, learning ability, can customize what the volume button...
Cons Poor transmit power, no buttons work while sleeping volume didn't continuously...
Recommended it? No

I originally bought this remote to control my new HDTV, HD DVR, DVD player and A/V receiver because it had a user-friendly display and seemed to have all the features I wanted, however once I used it for a couple of days it started to get very frustrating.

Pros Only one remote on my coffee table. All others in a near by drawer.
Cons Won't work unless touch pad is on. Very annoying.
Recommended it? No

I programmed my remote last night. So here is how it went:

I tried the TV first: Found the right code, and then realized that I only use the power, input, aspect ratio and volume. I changed the channel up and down buttons to operate the cable box channels.
