Pros Good size, good memory storage, and it doesn't need cords!
Cons Battery life is in the pits, and the built-in mic isn't that good.

Pros Long battery life, lots of space for audio interviews, incredibly easy to use
Cons Does not do laundry or dishes.
Recommended it? Yes

As a working journalist, I bought this recorder when conducting interviews with politicians. I wanted to make sure none of them could claim I fabricated a quote. Eventually, my audio recordings evolved into a weekly podcast at my newspaper.

Pros Battery life, size, sensitivity and pickup in a large group, survives being washed!
Cons buttons are a little on the small side, finish rubbed off easily, no back light
Recommended it? Yes

This product is amazing! I had accidentally put it through a full wash cycle (including the spin dry) and it still worked. Pros sound quality is great on buds and exterior player.
Cons as above, plus built in speaker is horrible.
Recommended it? No

can't delete a message while it is playing. This means you can lose an important message while trying to make out the tiny file numbers on the screen etc. older v-90 allowed deleting messages while they played.
