Olympus iS 50 - WOW! Your pictures will look professional.
The yearbook kids were getting much nicer photos than my newspaper kids. There is a little competition there, but the two departments work together. It's a small school, and it really helps to share the load and to pass on tips.

Takes great photos, but it's not worth the price
The Olympus IS series cameras have always had an identity crisis. At first they were called "ZLRs" or "Zoom Lens Reflex." They have the internal making of an SLR (a mirror mechanism that shows you exactly what the lens is seeing), but lack the versatility of being able to change the lens.

Everything you need

Great photos in daylight, but horrible flash
This point and shoot camera takes beautiful photos in daylight, and I love the feel of it ergonomically speaking. However, the flash is very irritating because it will work fine for a few photos, and then it starts making a sizzling sound while it's trying to flash, and the flash becomes annoyingly...
