Great Razor
I've been needing a new razor for quite a while, as my old Norelco 484 just wasn't cutting it anymore. Head design can cause problems
This razor gives a close shave and has many good features. The problem lies in the shaving head design. Head latch is plastic and can release when shaking excess water from unit. Shave head is fragile
The Norelco Smart Touch XL shaver shaves very well. Battery life is good. However, when I washed the head as prompted by the small display, the shave head fell off into the sink in pieces. Super nice shaver BUT you will need to get used to this one. It shaves closer then it "feels" so if you already are used to an electric shaver you may tend to press harder against your face. Never as good as the first time

poor shave times

Best electric shaver I've owned yet!
I have some coarse hair on my face and this is the only razor I've ever used that gets those hairs on the first pass. The floating head and redesigned blades do a great job of delivering a clean shave, the unit is also extremely quite. Read full review »
