Nikon EN-EL3e Li-Ion Nikon Battery great...but...
The Nikon EN-EL3e Battery is wonderful on the D80(the camera I presently use). It allows a full day of shooting jobs like weddings without having to change batteries. It will easily take 500 shots with the camera left in the "on" position 6-8 hours.

A Good But Not Great Battery
The Nikon En-EL3e Battery is the only Li-Ion Battery designed for use in the Nikon D-200 digital SLR camera. Buying the optional MB-D200 vertical grip/battery pack permits the user to use either 1 or two of these batteries OR by using the removable tray, 6 Lithium AAs or Ni-MH rechargeables.
