The factors of considering a good cell phone is not only just by the length of the standby time or call time but the frequency and range it can reach from the nearest cell site. I find my phone, although far cheaper than some of my friends' has a better talktime, a better standby and a quicker recharge time than most of the pricier models.
It is tough, as I have dropped mine loads of times and the worst that has happened is that the battery fell off.
