Pros An excellent sequel to the delightful "Curious Village."
Cons Can feel like more of the same if you've just beaten the first title.
Recommended it? Yes

After being completely charmed by “Professor Layton and the Curious Village” for my DS Lite a couple of months ago, I knew that I couldn’t resist the sequel, “Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box,” especially when I heard rumors that it was bigger and better.  Whether you’re a Layton veteran or... Pros Genius puzzles, nice gameplay and an incredible finish.
Cons The game can sometimes drag on a little, but that's hand in hand with puzzlers.

EDIT: For this review, I'm going to be changing my writing style slightly. This review will not be so informative as the last two were, so please read open-mindedly. I will include information about the gameplay and other bits and pieces, but a part (or parts) of this will be my personal opinion... Read full review »

This is one of my favorite DS games.  The puzzles are challenging.  There are a lot of new twists to the first Professor Layton.  A great logic game.

I will say that that it has some mature themes, which may not be appropriate for young children.  Read full review »

I started playing this game during a hospital stay. I couldn't put it down! It made the time go by quickly and created a great distraction. None of the puzzles are very hard and there are a lot of them! When I started playing, I feared that there wouldn't be enough content or that the story... Read full review »

I had to have this game. I love games that have to make you think. This game does just that. But it is very short. My son still hasn't completed it yet but he is 9. It is more challaging if your younger. The older you are the quicker you will complete it. I replayed the game to see if i can do... Read full review »
