The best system for the younger set by far!!!

Pros The Nintendo 64 is a lightweight, compact, easy to control system.
Cons The machine is a little to basic for more advanced gamers.
Recommended it? Yes

The Nintendo 64 was released with children in mind. The graphics follow the old polygon shape. Kind of reminded me of the Sega Saturn. The 64 bit processor gives you the impression that you`ll have better graphics, and a more realistic 3-d world to explore. But in reality it`s no more than the... Read full review »

I thought I better get this review out before October, because of cource the Nintendo Gamecube is not far away from it's release date. Plus the poor system is mostly dead.
I say mostly because my kid niece still plays her Mario64, Banjo Kazzoie, and DK64. In her catorory the only games that I... Read full review »

Cons Way too many childish games.

It?s time to go old school Nintendo. No I am not talking about the infamous ?regular Nintendo? I am of course talking about the Nintendo 64. With the coming release of the highly anticipated Nintendo GameCube, the N64 will soon be forgotten, just like all old systems are. It is time for Nintendo to... Read full review »

Pros Good Graphics. Great Games
Cons Sometimes the Games Won't Start
Recommended it? Yes

I recently purchased a N64. I have acquired many pre-played games from local electronics stores and EBay. As soon as I come home from work, I begin a long night of playing. It becomes addictive. The games are exciting. The graphics are great. In some games, I even become confused because the views... Read full review »

Pros No loading time for the games, some great games, good controller, really nice graphics
Cons RF Switch not included, one controller only
Recommended it? Yes

The N64 broke new ground over previous console systems such as the Super NES and the Playstation. The graphics of the Nintendo 64, although somewhat blocky, are still really nice.

The Nintendo 64 uses a cartridge system, which means no loading times. Many of the games released for the... Read full review »

Pros Great easy to learn system for younger teens. All around good system.
Cons Some very bad games that really bring the system down.
Recommended it? Yes

Nintendo 64 spawned the beginning of advanced, 3d graphics(with the exception of some playstation games). This 64 bit system is a huge step in the graphics and gameplay field from its 8-bit predecessor.
This almost 5 year old system has inspired many different competitors to step up to the... Read full review »

The N64 hads gotted popular for over the years of 1996,97,98,99 and started to fell down the market in the 2000 because of the new nintendo systems that came out as saga dreamcast and the playstation 2. I got to tell you the nintendo system is getting cheap, But now you could get your favorite... Read full review »

Nintendo's always been the one we could all count on for our gaming cravings, but now that has changed...tremendously. The N64 was launched back in 1996, and was expected to be the next biggest hit in the video gaming world, after the PlayStation. Well, it was, when people started to buy it like it... Pros -Inexpensive, some really fun games, no load times
Cons Expensive games, horrendous controller.

As a long-time video game fan, I obviously have a Nintendo 64 in my console collection. I originally purchased it when Zelda: The Ocarina of Time came out. And I have bought very few games for the system since (3 more, in fact). I have to admit that the N64 is the system that I play the least out... Read full review »
