Nintendo Rules
I feel that the BEST game idea's are those of the NES. The NES was the first real good console. It had a HUGE variety of games. It kept me playing for tons of hours a day. They were not that huge and just difficult enough so that I wouldn't stop playing. NES had the whole Mario series was I think... Read full review »
N64--The Essential Info

Why it's good, why it's bad, why the controllers are ugly...
Zelda64, WaveRace64, FZeroX, and Mario64 are some of the best, most innovative games ever made, on ANY platform. Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has the golden touch, and if you want to enjoy his genius you must buy...

What more could you ask for?
I got the N64 the day it came out, and I've loved it since then. It provides excellent graphics and CD quality sound, and at the current price of $99, it's a great deal. It has a large collection of excellent games, many of which contain some excellent cinema sequences that are rendered on-the-fly... Read full review »
N64 - Not very memorable
When I first heard about the Nintendo 64 (first called Project Reality in Nintendo power circa early '94), I was very excited about it because Nintendo never went wrong when it came to systems (well, except the Virtual Boy but that's an entirely different thing alltogether and besides, it wasn't... Good, but wait for 64X
If your one of those people who want the latest in gaming technology(cartriges), then run out the door and buy you a N64. It has plenty of games, around 6, and it has 4, count em',4 cool control ports for controls and what-not. On the other hand if you're a true HARD Core gamer you know you should... Read full review »
Great platform, few pitfalls
The Nintendo 64 console is really a great platform for gaming. The graphics are great, even though at this point they don't really match up with the Sega Dreamcast. With games that use an Expansion Pack (which you have to purchase separately) the graphics are much improved. The Nintendo-brand... Read full review »
Nintendo's Money Machine
Anyone who buys a new Nintendo 64 over a Dreamcast because it is $50 cheaper is making a huge mistake. What you make up for in initial cost is going to come back to haunt you when you start purchasing games. New Dreamcast games cost between $40 and $50 while new N64 games run $50 to $60. Why pay... A console for younger gamers
While once a leader in video gaming consoles (ie. NES, Super Nintendo) with great games like Mario and Zelda, Nintendo is now faced with playing catch up with the Sega Dreamcast and Sony Playstation (with the Playstation 2 due to be released October 30th). Nintendo is planning to release their... Read full review »
If only they made some games
I've always been in the Nintendo camp when it comes to games. I am not a hard-core gamer, I have a job and a wife, and I really enjoy other things in life.
I do from time to time really like a game that I can get into and unwind. I bought the N64 essentially for the new castlevania...
