Great Game System
This is a great game system, especially for the younger set. The DS lite allows you to play all DS games along with Gameboy games. It is perfect for kids who still like some of those games. It does not have all of the features of the DSi or the DSiXL and if you won't be playing... Read full review »
Great for car rides
My daughter has had her DS for just short of a year. It has been wonderful on car trips and while waiting around in the dr. office, etc. My daughter isn't the easiest on toys, but the game has stood the test of time. I would definitely recommend it. Read full review »
Best handheld out there!
The DS is the best gaming on the go system I've ever owned. It's the only one I've played a ton of, too. All others get boring after a while, but this system is great. There are tons of good games for it, and the controls are really easy. I can't recommend a handheld system more than this one. Read full review »
Great system but gets expensive!
I bought this for Christmas for my daughter. Very easy to set up and play games. I didn't think it was over priced until I realized that I had to buy all kinds of things seperately for it. Example: Screen protectors, case, extra stylus pens, car adapter, etc. By the time I was finished buying... Read full review »
Love the portability!
We have two Nintendo DS lites in our house and everyone uses them! They belong to my daughters but we all enjoy playing them. They are great for travel. Also we have always been able to find plenty of games the girls love. Very easy to use even for younger kids. Can't... Read full review »
Thoroughly Enjoyable
I thoroughly enjoy my Nintendo DS Lite. There are hundreds of games to choose from and it will still play my old Gameboy Advance games. The spot on the back where you store the stylus tends to get loose, so my stylus always falls out. My battery needs to be charged after several... Read full review »
My son's choice
This was my son's color choice for his very own DS. It's held up very well to hard play from a rambunctious boy, and the DS is a great system for kids as it has many kid friendly game choices. Read full review »
best handheld system!
Each of my boys have a Nintendo DS Lite system. They love it! We didnt upgrade because we had no need for the internet. They play with it at least once a week after a few years. Still works great! Read full review »
Superior Handheld
The Nintendo DS Lite, is a sleeker, redesigned Nintendo DS that delivers better than the original edition. It is thinner than the earlier DS, but it still delivers what the original DS had before. You still can play your Game Boy Advance games here like before, you still can use the WI-FI adapter,... Read full review »
game system for all ages
My son got this for his birthday last November and it's a big hit. Obviously we have to limit his time on it but it's nice that some of the DS games are geared with young players in mind without the usual violence as can be with other game systems. He loves his Drawn to Life game which we help him... Read full review »
Had for two months and so far so good.
We purchased this for Christmas 2009 for the older children to share and a few just educational games. I vowed to just buy the educational games for this and am glad the selection of these type of games is increasing for the ds. Of course I would like a bigger screen but it is nice and... Handheld Gaming Systems: Nintendo DS Lite (Cobalt/Black)
My Nintendo DS Lite tale is a tale of sadness, woe, and redemption. A few years back, I was working a couple of jobs, one of them was at the retail chain Barnes and Nobles. I used to bus to and from work at this point – it was cheap and a straight shot up a main road – and I had a Game... Read full review »
Once the homework is done, playing this is the reward.
My son could play this all day so I have to make him take breaks. Boys being boys, it has been dropped many times and surprisingly still works. Read full review »

Nintendo DS Lite
I just bought a Nintendo DS lite for my 13 yr old nephew. And I had a chance playing it before giving it to him. But after two month I still have it. It was very handy and very entertaining especially during long trips. And also it had Gameboy advance cartridge slot. I think I need to buy another... Read full review »

My daughter loves it!
I really like the Nintendo ds because it occupies my daughter on trips and it distracts her. The only con I have is the prices on the Nintendo ds games and how Nintendo keeps coming out with new systems and game and when my daughter first sees it she says I have to have it. Read full review »
nintendo ds a great system for any one, except hardcore gamers.
The Nintendo DS, is a handheld gaming system, the cost for a new one is around $100- $150, which is completely worth it for a person who is looking for a great system and not a lot of cash to spend.
The greatest feature of the Nintendo DS is its touch screen, because it helps...
