Same Old Song and Dance ? Nine Lives for AEROSMITH
First and foremost, this album is a virtual MIRACLE. Not only engendered by a band on the verge of split, it was built from the scratch after their recording company rejected an entire innovative batch of songs. AEROSMITH, living on the edge.
There was a negative convergence for the band...

Nine Lives - Live for Ten!
Album originally released: March 1997.
After hearing many Aerosmith songs on the radio, and knowing pretty much most of them anyway I thought it was time to purchase an album. After all, every Aerosmith fan has to have at least one. I went to my local store and had a look at what CDs were...

These cats must have nine lives
I've felt recently that Aerosmith are somewhat an under-valued band in the higher echelons of music critique. They are, of course, my favourite band and as a result I am fairly biased. But when you see the praise heaped on other long standing bands of twenty years plus (Rolling Stones, Bee Gees,... Read full review »
The best Aerosmith Cd of the 90s . . . . . . by far
The album begins with an opening that shows Aerosmith's rock side in an awesome way. This opening is similar to Permanent Vacation's opening. I feel it's one of the best songs on the album. The entire album portrays many different sounds. Every song is unique to the others, which made the album... Read full review »
After GAG, Aerosmith Shows They Have Nine Musical Lives (Aero W/O)
It must have been hard to be Aerosmith back in 1996 and 97. First and foremost, they had to somehow follow up the biggest commercially successful album of their career, the mediocre Get a Grip, which took off mostly thanks to the three videos featuring at the time blonde girl of the moment Alicia... Nine Lives was the first Aerosmith album I ever bought, that being the case, it was also the first Aerosmith album I really got into...

BE WARY
this CD is aerosmith at a low. thankfully, it isnt as bad as done with mirrors, but it still isnt up to standard. it has a few well written songs on it but overall it is a big dissapointment. i would have liked to see a CD like they put out in the 70s where almost all the songs were good and... Something Had To Give...
This is an interesting album from Aerosmith. Commercially, it was a flop (but not for lack of trying, see "Hole in my Soul"); it debuted strong but fell back in the charts rather quickly. It got a slight boost when "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" became a smash hit from the Armageddon soundtrack -... Read full review »
Enter the World of Aerosmith!
On Nine Lives, Steven Tyler and the rest of his forty-something band members continue to embrace hard-rock with a lack of self-consciousness worthy of a group of high school battle-of-the-bands contestants. However, with this record they move towards a more musically inclined sound.
The...

Hell Yeah!
I will admit that I am an Aerosmith fan. I also am a critic when it comes to every CD I come across. This is a phenominal record. From the very start, it's rocking hard. "Falling In Love", "Ain't That a B***h", and "Hole In My Soul" are all tremendous songs. The guitar work by Joe Perry is mind... Read full review »
Album Of Forgettable Material Pandering to the MTV Crowd
Face it. Aerosmith is not a real band anymore. They just don't have the integrity and energy to put out a focused effort. They are a merchandising machine that is most interested in selling product. That aside, "Nine Lives" isn't completely bad. It has its moments, and it's definately better than... Read full review »
I'm lookin' for a little taste, a taste of Aerosmith...
For those of you not familiar with Aerosmith, the following is a brief history: The band, a bare-bones rock n' roll group, was formed in 1970 and released their self-titled debut in 1973. After a series of hits and misses (most of which were hits to me, but it's an objective thing), Aerosmith... Read full review »
Live for Ten
If you like Aerosmith, you already have this album. If you like them as much as I do, you bought it the day it came out. I had been anticipating this album since I read about its production in Entertainment Weekly way back in 1996! Over one year, and a few producers later, this album hit the... Read full review »
Wow! Can they get any better?
I am a teenager, and my Dad doesn't think I'd like Aerosmith, but I got this album last Christmas and it's great! I can listen to it all the way through, which everyone knows is a BIG plus. My favorite track is "Full Circle", closely followed by "Pink" then followed by "Falling in Love (is hard on... Read full review »
The best there is!
The first ever song I heard by Aerosmith, which I knew was by them anyway, was I Don't Want To Miss A Thing. This song instantly became my favourite song of all time, so I felt that I needed to buy the album. Even though I had no idea what the rest of Aerosmith's stuff was like I wrongly assumed it... WHERE DO FALLEN ANGELS GO?
It was three years ago to the day that I asked someone "Do you like Aerosmith?" She answered "Yes of course!" I had no idea she did, I was hoping she did, So I then asked her: "Would you like to go up to Boston and get the new CD? They are releasing it early tonight at Tower Records" "YEAH I'D LOVE... A classic Band
Aerosmith is a classic rock band. One day I was strolling around my local record store looking for a good cd when I came across Nine Lives. I never really paid much attention to this band while they were extremely popular. Nine lives was the most recent album they had out so I decided to give this... Read full review »
return of the aerolegacy
This was the first album released by Aerosmith after a brief hiatus. Released in 1997, this album grabbed you by the balls and said, let's go. This album showed the growth of the band by bringing out a new sound. A bit of a heavier sound, a sound very much "in" today. This is one of the few albums... Read full review »

Awesome Lyrics!!
Aerosmith..music legends~~~~! What an awesome group. I have had the pleasure to see them in concert last December, and I can honestly say they are great! This album is better than I ever expected!! The only thing I DIDN'T like was the album cover. Even with the change,it wasn't that nice. But the... Read full review »
