Perfectly suitable for most needs.
I was not at all dissatisfied by this camera. I had some problems, but for the price I thought that it was a nice camera. It served my needs at the time very well.

Nikon Coolpix 8700 digital camera

Coolpix 8700 vs D70
Don't make the mistake I made. I used the 8700 for three months and took about 1000 pics in every situation possible. I then sold the 8700 and purchased the D70 kit. The camera takes decent pictures but I was using it at my son's birthday party and went to take a picture and saw the on/off/shutter release button was hanging from a wire.
