I had this thing two weeks (that's how long COMPUSA gives you). Out of the box, DHCP did not work, and never did despite holding for hours (66 min 1st call and 75 min 2nd) to speak with their less-than-stellar support folks in... India! My WGR614 arrived yesterday. It took about five minutes to setup and has been working great. Also purchased a WG511 card for my laptop, which also took about five minutes to setup. Poor Netgear Customer Service/Warranty
The Netgear WGR614 router operated well for 10 weeks. Then it failed. Only after rebooting (power off -- power on) did it operate properly for 10 or fewer minutes, then, it failed, again. Go Wireless with Netgear, but don't expect too much support

Loses connection every 4 days
I bought a WGR 614 wireless router and it worked fine for about a year then it would lose connection every 4 days like clock work, I would have to unplug and replug the AC cord to regain connection. Read full review »
Horribel device
Seems they keep updating the versions on this thing. Needed Support to help install on a new Dell. Loses signal even when PC is stable. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I got this and it was easy to install. But after several power outages...I cant seem to get on to sites. they no longer offer support by phone, after i have had it only 4 months. Piece o' Junk
I bought mine about 2 1/2 years ago, my next door neighbor has one, and when I was living in France my landlord had one. All three routers performed badly. The setup was easy, Netgear tech support was very good, but the routers have a way of disconnecting themselves at awkward times.
