Waste of Money
I bought this coffee maker about a year ago. Within 4 months, the warmer plate cracked. I had at least 6 occasions of the water flowing out of the coffee reservoir (where the filter goes with the coffee) and woke up to a big mess and a half a pot of coffee full of grounds. An excellent coffee maker for a coffee lover such as myself.
My family purchased this coffee maker at the local thrift store for $24 instead of the normal $60 because the box that it came in was stained terribly and could not be sold by whoever had donated it. The unit inside was brand new and in perfect and unused condition.

Would love to return this one
Too bad it was a gift. Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to get the right proportion of coffee to water in this machine. Major Regrets
I sought out a top of the line home coffee maker and thought this was it. It worked fine for a few months, then developed a leak.
