Solid coffee maker if you can get under $50
I purchased after another Mr Coffee maker passed-on. I like the 8-cup size and durable stainless-steel carafe. Just a so-so coffee maker
Bought this a week ago, and have been disappointed. The thermal carafe seemed like a good idea, vs. the warming plate. cold, bad tasting coffee.
As said in other reviews this coffee maker does not get the water hot enough for a good brew and thus making the thermal carafe worthless. Not a good coffee maker
The thermal carafe is a good idea, but the top can be tricky to screw in just right. The coffee maker made about ten good cups before it started producing a strange burnt plastic taste.
