Good for a Visit, Tough to Love
I have read some of the reviews on this game and don't want to follow in most everybody else's footsteps. I grant that this game was not a gem but it wasn't that bad was it??? I mean think about all the hoops that the designers had to go through to just get it out on the market. I think it was... Read full review »
Thanks the lord real nazis weren?t like that!
I can remember the first time I played Wolfenstein 3D, it was somewhere in 1993, the first FPS (first person shooter) in the history of gaming. I instantly fell in love with it, the idea of being the Allies bad guy, making my way through endless corridors of blue stone, blasting Nazis along the... Read full review »
Escort Guide to Peru
It feels like a thousand years ago when I was in Peru, but let me tell you one thing that made the trip a thousand times better. Normally, I like to travel alone with no reservations and plans, I pick an eye-whitness guide book and follow the best pictures I can find. For Peru I did something... Read full review »
Wolfenstein reborn? I think not!
I have a problem. I see a new First Person Shooter (fps) at the store, and I have to buy it. Mortyr especially caught my eye, because it was supposed to be an un-official remake of a classic; Wolfenstein 3D. Even though it wasn't on sale, and my favorite game magazine PC Gamer hasn't reviewed it... Read full review »
Another quake killer? I think not, but still a great game!

Better than Wolfenstein? Ha! No way!
Nazis. Everyone hates them, everyone loves to kill them in video games. They are the ultimate symbol of evil on Earth, the greatest enemy the world has ever faced. But killing Nazis alone does not a good game make.
Mortyr is basically aping the old 3d shooter from id Software, Wolfenstein...

The little engine that could
It's been a wait for me; I wanted to get my hands on the final release of this game so badly! I played the demo version, and while some things annoyed me, I figured it is a demo and things will be sorted out and improve in the final version. NOT!
It didn't happen, and the mistakes from the demo...

What were they thinking?
I don't know what happened to the Polish game designers who made this game but it must have been bad. What were they thinking?
Before this game came out I used to go to www.morytr.net all the time and read about any news concerning this game. They had a contest and I entered it and won! Ha! I...

It could've been great
When I first played Wolfenstein 3D, I was in love. I couldn't believe how good the idea was. It was so simple. Who wouldn't want to shoot a bunch of Nazis full of holes. So when I heard Mortyr had Nazi's in it, under more or less the same idea, I was very excited. They had a good engine, good... Read full review »
great looker, but disappointing gameplay
"In fact, had WWII actually been fought by German soldiers of the same intelligence and accuracy, even the French might have even been able to hold their own. For at least a few weeks. Maybe." This quote sums up the answer to how good is the artificial intelligence is in the game. Soldiers in this... Read full review »
