Piece of GARBAGE!!
DO NOT BUY!!! At approximately the 3 year point the capacitors go bad!! Mits claims they have never heard of this, but if you do your research you will find the same problem with this and many other sets!!

Dark picture
We have owned our 62 in hdtv for about 2 years. Replaced the lamp once. The picture start fine and then slowly gets darker and darker until you cannot see it unless the room is totally dark. Would not buy again. Read full review »
Love it
I have owned this TV for 3 years now and I Have only had to replace the bulb once and I think that was damaged moving the TV. Fan noise is only noticeable after you shut the set down. The fan runs for a couple of minuets to cool the bulb down. Picture is sharp from any angle and I love the quality... Read full review »
Great Picture-Poor Repair Record
Great Picture. Complex setup accomplished by Cable Company and works great since. Sound system great with assistance of Bose Stereo. Mitsubishi Technical support line was very helpful and responsive in helping set up DVD.
Cons: 2 Projection bulb replacements in two years.

Spots on TV screen
This is a great looking TV and the picture is also great. I would not recommend buying this TV I keep getting these shadow spots all over the screen I have gotten it fixed 4 times the techs say this will always be a problem it will need cleaning on the inside of the TV. Turn on a problem, But great when on
The biggest problem is my set only turns on once in 5 times unless I push the reset button on the front panel. No one seems to have an answer for this problem.
