Yawn... Umm Maybe try and triangulate... Please...
For what it is worth it is not a bad gps, if you dono where the heck you have to go, then by all means, use it, if you know where you have to go but dont exactly know where to find the street and it is at least 30km (20miles) away, great, switch it on, finish your coffee, start your car and start... Nice Unit at an Affordable Price
In my job as a two sport referee, I travel to various schools and facilities in order to discharge my duties.
I was looking for a GPS unit that was affordable and would get me from point A to point B. I was a bit disappointed to find that a majority of the GPS units started at $300+.

Great receiver...especially for the price
When I found out that my business would be requiring me to visit places I was unfamiliar with, and that many of these visits would be by car (or using a rental car), I decided that my days of relying on maps alone were over. AAA (American Auto Assn) maps are great; Google Maps and Mapquest not... Read full review »
O-Mio, O-Mio, Where For Art Thou?
If you are the type of person who is directionally inclined, i salute you and envy you! I am not one of the above and have always struggled with my directions! I can get in a car and head north, two turns later i will have absolutely no idea what way i am facing! This is where GPS, the new love of... Read full review »
Broke after 4 months. Horrible Customer Service.
I bought this for Christmas of 06. Worked great on trip to disney a month later. It was easy finding grocery stores, places to eat and anything else. Even worked great putting in a point of interest where we parked so I could recall where we parked. But, by April, it wouldnt power on. Charge light... Read full review »
Big Disappointment
I purchased the Mio 310x for only $199 on-line. It has a nice, clear screen and many options. But the maps installed are out of date and often useless. So far, it has been accurate less than half the time. Mio promised an update but as of this date has not delivered on that promise. Not recommended. Read full review »
Mio C310x GPS
Bought this during the Winter holiday sale of 2006 for $199 at Staples.
The Good news...
- Low price
- The pre-loaded maps are generally clear and easy to read.
- Display is bright and clear.
- It's relatively simple to operate.
- Turn on automatic night mode...

No customer service or maps
We bought the MIO GPS DigiWalker C310X in Oregon and it is a great tool and offers instructions in many languages other than English. It seems easy to use although we had trouble getting the enclosed CD to play on a few computers. The box and literature expounded on how you can add maps and use... Read full review »
Mio C310x vs. ViaMichelin 930 from Mark B
I owned the Mio C310 x before I bought the ViaMichelin 930. I really tried to like the Via Michelin, bought it with every intention of loving it in March 2007. But I feel compelled to tell most of you to keep the Mio C310 and skip on the ViaMichelin if you are trying to decide between the two. The... Read full review »
OK, but ...
I'm on my THIRD C310x! I am SO happy that I didn't buy mailorder because of - like most have said - Mio's customer DIS-service! I got mine from Staples when on sale for $199. The FIRST C310x locked on to satellites quickly and gave VERY accurage readings, BUT it would not link to my computer. After... Read full review »
Best for the money
Great hardware and map interface is solid. However, a map update is badly needed and is reportedly planned for Spring 2007. My wife travels in the car and tells me she couldn't get around without this thing. As with any GPS unit, maps get outdated very quickly and Mitek needs to make a better... Read full review »
Mio C310X vs. ViaMichelin X930: Go with the Mio!
I purchased the the C310X in January from Staples for $199 for an upcoming trip to Las Vegas. I had originally purchase the ViaMichelin X930, but the one I got only worked for 2 weeks before it wouldn't pick up a signal anymore. Since I had to ship it back to New York and wait for a return I knew I... Read full review »
Poor navigation causes nothing but frustration
I bought this model last month and after I tried it several times in the San Francisco Bay Area, I decided to return it for a refund.
On my first try, I drove to a restaurant in Foster City, CA and the device took me to a location about five blocks from the restaurant. Fortunately I know...

This mio is so very silly.
I recently purchased the unit from staples at $200.00. a nice price. It has no a/c adapter so i have to let it charge in the car and worry about someone stealing it. It comes with no instructions which need to be downloaded. 88 pages that only review the features. The unit it hard to figure out. i... Read full review »
Major value for the price!
Having owned a Magellan RoadMate 700 for some three years now, for which I paid about $1,200...I feel confident to comment on the relative value in the MIO C310X. My trusty Magellan fell off the windshield on a cold morning recently, and I believe the antenna connection became damaged, as it now... Read full review »
Not Too Bad - Although...
I have use a number of GPS systems in rental cars on business trip... so I decided to buy one. My Mio-310X was delivered 02/01/07 and I have been using it daily since.
The maps are really out-dated, sometimes it will take you on routes that are 2 & 3 times longer, since new roads have been put...

Mio - O My a Less than Satisfactory GPS
Mio is very eye appealing unit with, based on initial look, really packs a lot of features into a GPS unit. Includes an MP3 player built in. But once you take the MIO 310X on the road the appeal quickly wears off.
Mio may have an edge on the bells and whistles over other GPS systems such...

Good Product Good Price
Overall, I am very satisfied with the Mio 310X. This is the third GPS product that I have owned and find it to also be the best.
I started out in 2003 with the Delorme Earthmate for Laptop and was very happy with that product even though it had many shortcomings. I upgraded in 2005 to a...
