Cheaper to buy than maintain
I bought the magicolor 2400W as a general-purpose printer and have been fairly satisfied with the results. It is easy to set up, prints high-quality text fairly fast. The two-side option is fairly easy to figure out and works well.

I thought I got a good deal at Sam's Club for $249.00 till I saw that the other reviewer got his at Sam's Club for $188.00.

Finally a color laser printer I can afford
I wanted a color laser printer for a long time and finally stumbled on this one at Sam's Club for $188. Color graphics look terrific, far better than inkjet. The low price and picture quality more than make up for the drawbacks which are:

Unimpressive Piece of Junk
This unimpressive, albeit affordable, piece of junk represents a lousy deal at any price... unless you like constant paper jams, crappy documentation and lackluster prints. Really great product... and ease of use
Real happy with it except now that i have to go out and buy replacement cartridges which will cost as much as the printer itself. The 1500 and 4500 page is based on 5% coverqge. well, at 5% coverage, I might as well right in in color pencils. Happy with the printing and holding up well. So far..... Read full review »
The worst printer I've ever owned
DO NOT BUY this printer. I've had one for about two years. I've had to reinstall the software over two dozen times as the printer has stopped working. Plus, it frequently jams and pulling paper out of the printer is a hassle. Read full review »

have had printer since 11/2005. on 1/23/2006 a piece of paper become jammed on the left side of the printer. tried to get it out and couldn't. called company for support and was given a few things to try. nothing worked. the only thing they can do is send me a new printer and I have to send the one...
