What's better than an Xbox 360?! Nothing!
Excellent Game Selection
A bit of history; I used to own a launch 360 a few years back. It broke down 4 times within a year and a half before I decided to sell it to a friend. But now that it has so many great games you can't find on any other system, I decided to buy a new one. The first thing I noticed is how considerably cooler this machine runs compared to the older Xbox model. Hopefully this means it'll go a lot longer without giving me the RROD. Installing games directly to the hard drive means you won't get any disk read errors. You do need the game disk in the drive to play for security reasons, but I don't hear it spinning at all. The fans can be a little loud (that was expected) but as long as it keeps the system cool, it's a necessary annoyance. However, once you get into an intensive game of MW2, you probably won't notice the fans at all. Graphics wise the machine is a complete powerhouse. It's a hardcore gamer's favorite, but the casual gamers have plenty of choices on this platform, too with all the mini games available in the MArketplace. And with the release of project Natal comming soon, those same hardcore, casual and younger gamers will have more ways to play new and innovative titles. Freezing can be a minor issue. In the last week I've had two games freeze at random times. Saving often can help if this happens to you. I am very happy with my 360 Elite purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid console with plenty of great games to play.
