This is a great first puzzle for kids who are around 11-12 months old! The puzzle has nice large knobs for a child to grip, and nice bright colors to get their attention. There are pictures under the puzzle knobs, and kids can match them easily.
We actually bought a few different designs of this Melissa and Doug puzzle because we liked it so much.
