With four dogs and two cats running around my tiled house, mopping with chemicals is not an acceptable option.  Not to mention the fact that mopping is messy, gross, and in my opinion, borderline unsanitary.  I previously owned a steam cleaner but it was more for light duty and did not... I brought this steam cleaner on Amazon several months ago and I really love it. I own a big house and I have to steam clean my whole house every other day. I bought this little thing to replace my steem shark that i have used for 8 years. It looked like the steam sharka and attachments looked similar, but that is where it ended. I purchased this steamer at Harbor Freight Tools for $59 to use on a wallpaper stripping project. We like it and have used it for many other things.

We have had this steamer for about 5 years.  In that time we have used it for general cleaning, stripping wallpaper, blasting away ice... Read full review »

I received this steamer for Christmas. I was expecting the Shark steamer but my mom saw what great reviews this was getting and "up graded" me. Nice thought but this thing is a DISASTER!

I purchased my steam cleaner three years ago and have never had any problems with it. Since there are some people at our Bahai Center who have allergies or are sensitive to chemicals I decided to purchase this machine. I did a lot of research at the time and this steam cleaner had the highest... Read full review »

Pros Professional style steam clean in a homeowner sized machine!
Cons Should come with a small funnel for filling, or a bigger inlet.

How?  We've purchased a long closed local restaurant. The previous owners simply shut the doors one day and never came back. That means, any food sitting out, any coffee in the pots, and even the grease and crud in the fyers was just sitting there waiting for someone to come and tackle... Read full review »

The McCulloch MC1275 is the best steam cleaner I have owned.  I bought this cleaner based on internet reviews.   It is an impressive cleaner because you can use a large or small amount of water based on your cleaning needs for each use.   The McCulloch MC1275 produces... Read full review »

Pros none
Cons Horrible customer service at Online World where I purchased this.

I purchased this machine through Online World.com.  I had read reviews that this machine would work well for steaming my curtains and cleaning my couch upholstery.  It doesn't, at all.  And the attachments recommended for this task do not work at all.  They have really rough brushes and would snag... Very well built, I wish I had bought this one before the other handheld one I just threw away! This is a serious and powerful electrical tool; that said - it feels like christmas morning when you open up all the attachments that come with it! It even includes a nice screw driver just for attaching... Read full review »

Pros sanitizes as it cleans, replaces many household cleaners, variety of cleaning attachments
Cons recommended using with distilled water, warm up and cooling off time

I think this cleaner is excellent, at least for the purposes for which I purchased it. It cleans porcelain bathroom fixtures as good as anything and also does a good job on kitchen appliances, range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, etc..

It does not vaporize dirt into the air and make... Read full review »

This is a FANTASTIC steam cleaner! Let us review some useful things to know so you can make an informed decision on whether to purchase.

First of all, the MC1275 isn't a vacuum; it's a STEAMER.
It doesn't suck anything up.

Second, you'll need to add some good, old-fashioned... Read full review »

Just picked up yesterday. I bought it for my Mobile Auto Detailing business. First car I tried it out on was a 2006 BMW. The machine worked as advertised. Took coffee and soda stains right out, next challenge was the tar stains on the floor mats, guess what took those right out. Used it on the... Read full review »

There's nothing quite like scrubbing the cages of two large parrots on your day off. I spent hundreds of dollars in Poop-Off to try to make my life easier but it was impractical to use up a bottle in one use. Eventually, experienced bird owners suggested that I purchase a steam cleaner. The... Read full review »

Cons Hard to fill, slow warmup, very loud, no cord or attachment storage, fairly slow cleaning.

I purchased the McCulloch about a month ago; it is my first steam cleaner purchase. One reviewer seems to feel that steam cleaners in general are useless; I don't agree. Steam cleaners are not very popular and there are good reasons for that.

Pros May be useful for steaming wallpaper, toilet tank or a scummy shower stall.
Cons Time-consuming and ineffective at cleaning autos. It certainly isn't a $1000...

In July 2003 I bought a steam cleaner. I admit that I should have been less gullible. My sister used it successfully for removing wallpaper, and it may be helpful for some cleaning jobs if you are willing to wipe the dirt up after it. It is basically worthless, considering the money and time spent... Read full review »
