Maytag MVWB750W Top Load Washer

Picked up the set from Costco a year ago.  I have resorted to washing everything on the delicate cycle because all other cycles twists the items so badly that they are wrinkled even after shaking out and drying and re-drying on steam cycle!  Other problem noted is that the ends of my towels and jeans have become rather frayed, even on delicate and I have resorted to doing a second rinse because the wather saver feather (although a nice eco feature) does not rinse the soap out.  Costco is great about returns, so I'm considering exchanging for the Whirlpool Duet, but my mother in law bought her set and she's not happy either.  What to do??? Guess I stick it out until I can make a descision on what to replace the Maytag with?  Any ideas out there? Thanks
