Best foundation in the galaxy
Pros
Awesome coverage. Lightweight. Reduces the appearance of large pores. Fluffy, Moussey goodness!
Cons
For me, NONE. If you have dry or combination skin, your results may vary.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
If you want lightweight, flawless, long-lasting coverage... meet your Holy Grail. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is the only foundation you'll ever need.
I bought a jar of this last month and, needless to say, it rocked my socks right off. I'm very fussy about the type of foundation I use; I want good coverage... BUT I want it to look natural, not cakey. Well, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse does the trick.
I have (very) oily skin, and if you're anything like me, you know what that means... CRATER PORES!!! But hey, Maybelline to the rescue! After applying this (sparingly; a little goes a looong way) with a foundation brush, my face looked flawless enough to pose as a body double for a baby's backside (minus the diaper rash).
The Classic Ivory shade is a pretty good match for my skintone. I was worried about that, since I seem to always fall between shades (my skin color is weird), and have to make the dreaded decision of choosing the lesser evil (a bit too light or a bit too dark), but this worked fairly well for me.
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation glides on smoothly; it's very sheer, yet provides great coverage... all at the same time. How is this possible? I don't know, but I think they crammed a genie into that jar before they sealed it up. Mecha Lecha High, Mecha Hiney Ho! (If you ever watched Pee-Wee's Playhouse, you'll get that last line)
I highly recommend this product if you have oily skin/large pores/uneven skintone, etc, etc. Pair up Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse Foundation with Rimmel's Stay Matte powder, and you've got a winning combo. You may also want to consider using Maybelline's Dream Mousse Blush with this; it blew me so far out of the water, I'm still trying to find my way back to Atlantis. : D
