The Stars are Under Your Control
I am not really much of a strategy game person, but this is the one strategy game that I really enjoy. This is a turn based strategy game set in space.
The customizability of the game is what makes it a lot of fun. You can custom build your own race from a list of traits, government, etc...

MOO 2...something to do
This is a game that has been around for a long time, but I still find myself wanting to play every now and again. It?s hard to say for sure, though, why it appeals to me.
First of all, the graphics are nothing to write home about. In fact, there basically are no graphics used. There are no...

Still the best sci-fi 4X game around
Master of Orion II is a sequel of the classic Master of Orion. It's old enough to require only a 486! Despite its age, it is still one of the best 4X games around (4X being exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination), with each game being a bit different. It is turn-based, but don't... Still the Best...
This game has been around a while and unfortunately has yet to be equaled. I have had this game since it first came out and have spent many hours playing it. I bought it because I enjoyed its predecessor, Master of Orion. The only real problem with Master of Orion II is that there hasn't been a... Read full review »
A classic
Master of Orion II is a classic. This game is far from new, the graphics and interface are
far from the cutting-edge eye candy that is seen in today's games, but who cares? If
you love to manage, micromanage and conquer the universe this game will hook you.
There are many options...

Still fun even after 4 years! Love it!
If there's one gem of strategy games you should have in your collection, this one is it. It beats Civilization in replayability because it takes a shorter time to play and your empire does not become as unwieldy because there is a limit to how many star systems there are in a galaxy size.

Loving it for years
I got this game I don't know how long ago at college and I still love playing it. The interface becomes really easy, the races are all great to play, and the goal is different depending on how you want to try and win. Get sick of playing a powerhouse, play one that depends on science. Try to win by... Read full review »
An Amazing Game
Although it's getting to be a bit old, this game is still one of my favorites. In fact, it's the only game I'm still playing a year after I got it (except for Ultima Online, which isn't really the same game it was a year ago). The gameplay is excellent, the strategy is diverse and you can set up so... Read full review »

A Strategy Must
Masters of Orion was the game that first got me addicted to computer games, so when when i found a copy of MoO2 for sale, i snatched it up.
Was i disappointed, in a word NO!
This game takes the concept of MoO and improves on it 200%. If you have not played MoO or MoO2 before,...
