Great combo!
The Magnavox ZV427MG9 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo is an excellent product. It was easy to set up and is simple to use. It does run a bit slow, but you just have to be patient with it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a midpriced recorder.

Converting VHS to DVD's is extremely easy.
The Magnavox DVD recorder/Vcr combo makes it so easy to convert old Vhs video tapes to Dvd's. All you have to do is put the vhs tape into the slot, put a blank dvd into it's place and hit the dubbing button on the remote control.

discourages users
It recognizes copy proofing, sometimes right in the beginning sometimes halfway through making a personal disc for your own convenience, and that is legal I understand. Marketing or otherwise distributing copies is not legal.
It is such a problem in this area I'm thinking of returning it.
