Zoo Tycoon (better suited for older kids and adults)
The reason I say that Zoo Tycoon is better suited to adults is not because of violence or explicit content but because the game is quite complicated and it lacks excitement. Kids usually like to play suspensful exciting games. I think that young kids would loose interest in this game quickly.

It's educational
I really loved this game - building up a zoo and watching the little people walk around, seeing the baby animals born when the male and female are happy.
You have to really think about what the people need i.e. toilets, food and rubbish bins etc. It would be good for girls and boys 10 and up...

zoo tycoon
this is one of the best computer games! my 8 year old sister bought and i checked it out and loved it. if you like to design houses and malls and other buildings you will love this. it is harder for younger kids to do well and they become frustrated. it is exciting to see you zoo grow.
