Great value for the price

Good vacuum for a low price
I got this vacuum because I was moving into a new apartment on my own. Previously, I had either shared a vacuum with the entire floor, or my roommates had brought one. So this is the first vacuum that I've actually owned.

Only lasted a year
It was an awesome vacuum for one year. The automatic height adjustment broke so now it is so low that I can't even push it and it doesn't suck up as much any more. Unless you are good at fixing things or don't need it for longer than a year, I don't recommend it. Read full review »

Great for Pet Owners!
Purchased from Kmart for around 40 bucks. I have been using it for 2 years now, and can't believe how much pet hair it picks up. It is very lightweight and easy to carry up the stairs. I am very impressed with this vacuum and would buy another when it gives out.

Outstanding Value
I paid $39.99 for mine from Sears. I had just returned another bagless vacuum (also a Dirt Devil) because the filter would clog very quickly and lose suction.
