Not Vista Compatible

Pros Good little inexpensive webcam with audio.
Cons Does not work in Vista.
Recommended it? No

This product does not work in Windows Vista and Logitech is not offering a Vista Driver for it. Beware if it is your intention to use it with Vista.
On the other hand, it works incredibly well with 2000 and XP. This is a great product, like all Logitech Products Read full review »

Cons Unable to get mic to work, cord on combo earbud/mic too short.

Installation went successfully, good picture, adjustable focus ok, sound ok, single shot picture ok, could not get the mic to work, and cord too short to reach tower on the floor. Bought it to use chatting with friends on Yahoo Instant Messenger. Read full review »

Pros Has a button on top that auto-captures.
Cons Average to low quality pics.
Recommended it? Yes

Well the Logitech QuickCam.

What is there to say?
The interface is nice, gives you Msn (also works with Yahoo).

Basically the quality could be a little better, unless you have natural light in the room, it will look funny.

The driver settings has a lot of... Read full review »

Pros Small size, 6' cable and good quality
Cons Don't set it near your speakers...

Well over two years ago my wife and I upgraded to a broadband connection. This along with Instant Messaging applications finally made it realistic for us to buy a webcam and chat with grandparents, friends and family via video connections. At the time we were living in Nebraska while both of our... Read full review »

I had picked up the Logitech Quickcam messenger 2 pack and have been very disappointed with the quality of the picture, the response times, etc. not to mention the SW which came with the camera, would not work correctly and I had to download the latest package from Logitech.

The Quick Cam isn't so quick...

Pros inexpensive, easy to install
Cons choppy picture quality
Recommended it? Yes

After months of being bugged about it, I decided I wanted my own web cam. I had a Logitech in the past, and figured to go with that brand as it's the only one I'm familiar with, and because it was the least expensive. I was also sold on the rebate they gave. The built in microphone wasn't really a... Read full review »

Pros Cheap and readily available.
Cons Not worth the box it's packaged in.

I bought this camera by mistake. Called Walmart asking about a different model, they said they had it, went w/ 4 screaming kids and came out w/ this thing.

Forget about getting this camera set at eyelevel if you have a flat panel. Can't do it. You can balance it if you're careful, but... Read full review »

Pros price vid quality headset & holding clip easy installation compatible with many chat apps
Cons poor holding base low mic volume on headset cables to short

I was going to buy a higher end cam but the one I wanted was out of stock so I decided to settle for this one. It was only like $30 so I figured I would give it a shot. As a bonus it came bundled with a headset and clip for a laptop or flat screen monitor.

Installation was a breeze on xp... Read full review »

Pros Just the mic. It is clear.
Cons Quality is VERY poor. Very flaky resolution. Overrated.

This webcam is so disappointing. So much flakes. A cheap Genius V2 webcam which my wife purchased for $17 and uses in UAE is a whole lot clearer. It has no flakes and color res is better. You would think it's an expensive webcam. To think my system is more powerful. 1.8mbps Cable, P4 2.53GHz on an... Read full review »

Pros The Camera works fine, and you can get a great deal on it.
Cons iChatters need cameras to talk to you. May need to punch holes in firewall.

There are quite a few negative reviews of this camera that I could not relate to, so I thought I should post my opinion to give balance to the overall ePinion. I got this camera on sale at Office Depot for $20 as a part of the Access Trio LE (which means you get a free wireless keyboard/mouse set)... Read full review »

OK for the money

Pros Cheap. Reasonably easy top use and doesn't need (or have) many adjustments.
Cons Poor picture quality.
Recommended it? No

Not bad for a starter webcam. Software fairly easy to setup and use (at least on an XP system). Picture quality on the poor side. Note that this webcam has only a 320x240 resolution. The 640x480 they cite in the specs seems to be after interpolation. Read full review »

Pros None that I can think of.
Cons Outdated software, partner company out of business, and much, much, more.
Recommended it? No

There is nothing nice I can say about this camera.

Is it easy to use?
Not in the slightest. Setting the camera up on the computer or the desk is easy. That is about as far as it goes. The software that Logitech gives you installs 6 different programs onto your computer.
