Pros easy configuration, small, style, reliable connection, responsive, full PS3 command set
Cons somewhat expensive, line of sight only, power on is still 2-step
Recommended it? Yes

Since Sony chose to have all remote function in the Playstation 3 to be based solely on Bluetooth technology, it's relatively difficult to integrate in your home theater which is still almost exclusively ruled by IR remotes.
