The ClickSmart is a good webcam, but as a standalone camera, it's not so ClickSmart.
Sometimes the line between webcam and digital Camera are blurred. From my experience, when a camera attempts to do both, it usually succeeds at neither. I also Received this Camera Free From Verizon DSL.
Even Getting it for free leaves my Unhappy with this camera.

Quality web cam but forget about taking pictures
I needed a quality web cam for my new PC that I could also take off-line for some quick shoots. I have owned a Logitec Traveler before and I was more than happy with that little marvel: amazing web cam quality and very decent off-line pictures, even under difficult light conditions.

Some Good, Some Ugly Logitech 310

great bargain basement webcam, useless still camera
Most of these reviews are older than dirt, so this camera needs a modern perspective because now the camera's outdated and cheap (I got it for $25 new), as opposed to the $250 camera it was in an earlier review. NIFTY 1st Web/Digital Camera
I bought this camera on Amazon for 25.00 used including shipping. IF you can find this camera cheap it's a great buy, otherwise, pass on it.
I checked and it retails on the Manufacturer's website for $79.99 and it's definitely not worth that much.

Awesome web cam in an area with a LOT of light. Also has room monitoring, video capture, and additional software such as SpotLife included on the installation CD.
