Pros Comfortable to wear, selection of colors, under ten dollars, great sound for the price.
Cons Some people might not like the way they fit.
Recommended it? Yes

When it comes to headphones I am pretty tough on them; I use them at the gym, for running and while cleaning around the house. Most of the time the first thing to go is the jack that connects the CD player to the headphones, thankfully most of the MDR's from Sony have an "L" shaped... Read full review »

Ear Sweat - Worse to Experience than Read about?
I've been running on a treadmill at the Y, plugged into the television; it makes the time go by faster. Eventually I would pull off my headphones to readjust them and then have to submit myself to the disgusting feeling of putting cold, sweat... Read full review »

Pros Great sound, durable, stays in ear.
Cons Can be uncomfortable (at first).
Recommended it? Yes

I go to the gym every day, and it would probably get pretty boring if I didn't listen to music. I started using my Sony cd player at the gym about a year ago with the headphones that came with it. At the beginning of last summer, I decided to buy a new set of headphones for my cd player, and I went... Read full review »

A Close Balance Between Pros and Cons, Size is an Issue Here

Pros durable, convenient for exercise, long cord, lot's of volume, open air design
Cons slight discomfort at first, sound quality only fair, one size does NOT fit all Sony!
Recommended it? Yes

Well I bought these after my sister stepped on my old headphones. I saw them in their package and thought they looked interesting, but I really wasn't completely sold on them until I saw the excellent price. They were only ten dollars, so I decided to give them a try. I really have mixed feelings... Read full review »

Sony MDR-J10 - Good Sound for a good price

byellesboro Nov 3, 2005

Pros Great Price, Good sound, fits well on the ear (once you get used to them)
Cons Durability could be better, and they can get tangled easily
Recommended it? Yes

Whenever you buy an MP3 player, a CD player, or any product that comes with headphones, they are usually of poor quality. In my experience, I expect the worst when listening to included headphones, and the ones that came with my Sony NX80V Clie were no exception. Although they had a decent sound in... The Good
I have a strange set of requirements when purchasing headphones last year. They needed to be portable, comfortable, and lightweight. These seemed the fit the bill and were the most comfortable option considering I could wear them with my glasses.
So for the first few months I... Read full review »

They work well with my large ears.

Pros Inexpensive, sound good, and are comfortable on my fairly large ears.
Cons They may not fit your ears.
Recommended it? Yes

If only there were ear sizes like there are shoe sizes. Face it, the size and shape of ears vary almost as much as feet, but earphone makers treat them like one size fits all. Add to this the claims or hype of high fidelity in earphones, and you can drop a bundle of money on a pair of earphones... Read full review »

I was at Bestbuy, with my $20 gift card eagerly waiting to purchase a new pair of street style headphones to replace my cheap ones that came with my CD player. So looking for the street style ones, I was outta luck they ran out of them, so I purchased a pair of the MDR-J10 h.ear headphones not... Read full review »

I don't like these earphones much.

They fit comfortably enough and they are lightweight enough not to be annoying & it's nice to be able to wear them without them falling out of my ear when on the move, however I wear glasses most of the time because I can't be bothered with contacts. The... Read full review »

Pros comfort, price, use
Cons break easy, not high quality sound
Recommended it? Yes

I have only recently acquired these due to a faulty wiring in my last set of headphones. I bought this pair mainly because I have an active lifestyle and they look very comfortable. They seemingly produce rather good sound. I use them when I go running and have relatively no problems. The shape of... Read full review »
